EMerge ’26 – The De ‘Tox’ Masterclass is a focused academic initiative designed to strengthen clinical decision-making in emergency medicine, with a special emphasis on the management of poisoning and toxicological emergencies. Scheduled on January 9, 2026, at Hyatt Regency, Ahmedabad, this satellite symposium of JIC 2026 brings together experienced emergency physicians and subject experts to share practical, evidence-based approaches to real-world toxicology challenges.
The masterclass features structured sessions on acute ABCDE management, diagnostic approaches in poisoning, toxidromes and antidotes, and commonly encountered toxic exposures such as OP poisoning, celphos poisoning, PCM overdose, and TCA/BZD toxicity. A high-impact panel discussion on “Toxins in the Times of Terror” further adds a contemporary perspective to emergency preparedness. EMerge ’26 aims to empower clinicians with updated knowledge, clinical clarity, and confidence in managing critical poisoning cases effectively.
