What is JIC?

JIC stands for the Joint International Conference, a major annual scientific gathering centered on interventional medicine. It’s one of the most significant forums in India for collaborative scientific learning across disciplines like interventional cardiology, critical care, pulmonology, pediatrics, and cardiovascular research.

  • Held from January 10–12, 2025 in Ahmedabad, JIC 2025 celebrated “20 Years of Unbreakable Excellence” marking the event’s two-decade milestone

  • The conference was hosted at the Marengo CIMS Hospital campus and related venues in Ahmedabad, including the Pandit Dindyalal Upadhyay Auditorium, known for its modern infrastructure, high-tech sound, lighting systems, and a seating capacity of approximately 1,000

  • JIC 2025 featured a comprehensive and exhaustive scientific agenda, with over 250 lectures delivered by eminent international and national experts

Academic Engagement & Poster Competition

  • Poster submission required a nominal fee (INR 300), and winners received attractive prizes:

    • 1st Prize: INR 5,000 (clinical study) / INR 4,000 (clinical case)

    • 2nd Prize: INR 2,500 (study) / INR 2,000 (case)

    • 3rd Prize: INR 1,500 (study) / INR 1,000 (case)

Registration & Fees

  • Regular registration fees were set at INR 5,000 for MD physicians and INR 2,000 for MD students

  • Optional hotel accommodation (two-night stay) was available at additional cost (INR 5,000 per person)
